Argentinian authorities seized designer drugs and arrested a German citizen following multiple raids in San Isidro, linked to postal shipments from Europe.

The Federal Operations Division, dependent on the Superintendent of Dangerous Drugs, carried out raids in the northern area of the Greater Buenos Aires, where designer drugs and individual test kits for detecting Fentanyl, a substance used by consumers to reduce harm and prevent serious intoxications, were seized.

The investigation was initiated following the discovery of three postal packages at the premises of the Argentine Official Mail, intervened by ARCA personnel, coming from Germany and the Netherlands. These packages, intended for a German citizen in Argentina, contained Ecstasy, LSD, Amphetamine, and other illicit substances.

According to the official statement, the National Court in Economic Criminal Matters No. 5, headed by Judge Diego Alejandro Amarante, ordered the Federal Operations Division to investigate the case and identify those responsible. After fieldwork and data analysis, three addresses in San Isidro linked to the subject under investigation were identified, a citizen with permanent residency in the country.

During the raids conducted at the properties, various drugs such as MDMA, ketamine, and cannabis sativa, pharmaceutical pills, drug consumption equipment, a firearm, cash, electronic devices, and relevant documentation for the investigation were confiscated.

All seized items were placed under the jurisdiction of the intervening court for alleged violation of the Customs Code.
